With a foundation in economics and business administration from The University of Texas at Austin, Susan brings decades of experience in investment strategy, tax planning, and holistic financial design. Her career includes early work in investment management and private equity, shaping a disciplined, forward-looking approach to wealth planning.
Since founding Faykus Financial in 2017, Susan has focused on delivering consultative, multi-family office services that go beyond traditional financial planning. Previously serving as Executive Assistant to the CEO, Kaylie has been pivotal to the success of Faykus Financial for years. Her experience across administrative, operational, and management functions has contributed to a seamless client experience and strong internal processes.
Drawing from her education and experiences at Texas A&M University, Kaylie brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach that aligns with Faykus Financial’s mission to deliver consultative wealth management, multi-family office services, and philanthropic planning with care and precision.

Outreach & Insurance strategist
Blaine Faykus serves as Insurance Strategist and Outreach Specialist at Faykus Financial, where he supports clients through thoughtful risk management, wealth transfer planning, and legacy-focused strategy. Combining formal education with a lifetime of hands-on experience—including a background in farming—Blaine brings a practical, grounded perspective that resonates with clients from all walks of life.
Blaine is known for his ability to connect personally with individuals and families, walking alongside them through the legacy planning process with clarity, empathy, and care. His approach recognizes that each financial journey is unique, and he is deeply committed to providing personalized guidance that supports long-term security and peace of mind.
Currently enrolled at The American College of Financial Services, Blaine is pursuing the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation to further enhance his expertise in risk management and wealth transfer strategies. His ongoing education reflects a dedication to serving clients with both technical excellence and relational integrity.

Kelsey Faykus
Marketing Director
Kelsey is a creative who serves the firm as a story teller and communicator. She aims to bring the impactful and significant story of Faykus Financial to life through messaging and communications. Kelsey has tasted and seen the value that Faykus Financial brings to their clients and to the wider world, and she is passionate about communicating this. Through marketing programs, brand management, and communications - Kelsey’s goal is to create an invitational presence, where clients are invited into growing their resources, gifts, and talents for their intended purpose.
Kelsey graduated from Southwestern University with a bachelors in business, paired with a minor in communications. During her time at Southwestern, she collected a plethora of marketing knowledge and gained on-the-ground marketing experience as a marketing intern for a global real estate investment trust. Upon graduation, Kelsey was accepted into a rotational marketing program in the tech world, where she specialized in experiential marketing and product marketing.
After working in the marketing realm for over 4 years, her heart was tugged towards a Christian outreach organization where she gained experience supporting high school students. She is now a teacher and coach at Taylor High School.
